A sequel in which Riley enters puberty and experiences entirely new, more complex emotions as a result. As Riley struggles to adapt to her teenage years, her old emotions struggle to adjust to the possibility of being replaced. Phyllis Smith came out of retirement to reprise her role as Sadness for Inside Out 2. She asked Pixar to find her a recording studio in Missouri because she had no intention of traveling all the way to Los Angeles just for the sake of it.. As Riley grows older, her feelings are more complex, and therefore new characters (emotions) are introduced. But wouldn’t that mean that her parents (and potentially other adults) who have matured and developed even more will not only have these emotions in their control rooms, but even more emotions? There is a glimmer of angst during the scene with both parents, but nothing else. Are these emotions repressed? Or hidden like Riley
Nostalgia? This was also the case in the previous film, when the adults' the control rooms looked as evolved as the children and had the same number of emotions.
Although, to be clear, said mid-credits scene strongly suggests that anxiety and other new emotions tend to end up being kept in place by the main five emotions and only occasionally show up to express their fears, which explains their entire absence in the first film .. Joy: I don’t know how to stop the anxiety. Maybe we can’t. Maybe it will happen when you grow up. You feel less joy.. "This film is dedicated to our children. We love you just the way you are.”". A sequel with a gorgeous performance and enough maturity to this movie became a sequel which is no less than the first movie Even though the conflict shown is not as complex as in the first movie, it almost brought tears to my eyes For example, the scene where Bing Bong says the dialogue. Take her for me to the moon” I didn’t find any emotions that were successfully expressed by the dialogues or scenes. But that’s okay, I still like it. The point is that you find a strong emotional feeling ( although not too much) , this movie will appeal to any millennial kid and kids who want to go back to watch the second movie to reminisce, I mean grown up kids Overall rating of this movie is 8/10, definitely worth a watch.
