Scenario
Clown art is about to wreak havoc on the unsuspecting residents of Miles County as they peacefully drift off to sleep on Christmas Eve. Director Damien Leone said several major studios had expressed interest in financing the film, based on the surprise success of Horror 2 (2022), even without a full script, but he turned them all down because he’s sure they’ll never release it. Leone has commented that the only reason he can be so uncompromising in his portrayal of horror and gore is that he self-finances his films, creates his own special effects to keep costs down, and doesn’t have a major studio breathing down his neck.
The movie is more conventional
Mia mentions that the 5 year original massacre is coming up soon, but it was on Halloween, and this movie taking place at Christmas 5 years later would mean that the anniversary just passed 2 months ago. Brother: Julia, I thought I told you to stay away from my -[Art kills him with an axe]. There is an uncut version of the film with a running time of 2 hours and 25 minutes with 5 additional scenes.
Follows the horror (2016)

A good pacing can lift even the worst horror
Bigger budgets don’t usually mean better, but when passionate, talented filmmakers step in and hire an editor who knows their craft, everything changes. The clown art is as fun and terrifying as ever, but Victoria’s frenzied performance steals the show – she’s scarier than Art. Lauren LaVera as Sienna gives it her all as she portrays raw PTSD.
She might be the most traumatized last girl
