Steve Martin actually plays a concert in different walls
Scenario
Three strangers who live in the same apartment building in New York and share an obsession with real crimes suddenly find themselves involved in a series of murders. In fact, he is a very brilliant and talented musician. In the first series, the viewer learned from this wall in the elevator that CHS lived above Oliver, who lived above Mabel.

BUT the CHS newcomer has an apartment on the 7th floor, Oliver on the 8th floor, Mabel on the 9th – in the reverse order and much lower than CHS' there is a suitable gender in the series. When I first came across Only Murder in a Building, I thought it was clever, funny, and made me wonder what would happen next. The second season continued well from the place where the first one stopped.
The dialogue was great
However, the third season left me feeling that what made this show great had been destroyed. It’s now in its fourth season, and it’s like a piece of gum after you’ve chewed it for half an hour. It’s boring, uninteresting and brings more trouble than good.
Adding all these cameos was a big mistake
Sad, really. Martin and Short go well with each other, and Gomez was tolerable. They didn’t need more than two actors from the original seasons.
