There are a lot of elements to this show that are well done. But I just found it awkward. There was so much in the script, direction, and acting that felt awkward. At times, it was awkward. Some of the dialogue felt so sketchy and sloppy that I shook my head. It made the relationships in the story feel incomplete and lacking depth. I feel like I should have warmed up to a lot of the characters, but I didn’t. I understand the techniques of making the audience uncomfortable, but this is different. If it was deliberate, it was poorly executed. If this is a new style of filmmaking, I hope it catches on.
