Scenario
After months of isolation, Isherwood "Ish" Williams learns that most of the world has been struck by a mysterious disease. However, despite his instincts to continue his isolation, Ish leads a new civilization.

The first episode was better than the preview
It’s a quiet and lonely show, as (almost!) everyone except the main character has died from the pandemic, but uses that silence to ask worthy existential questions about loneliness, whether to try to live when everyone you love is dead, hope, and how to move forward. There is a famous book with this title/theme, and we’ll see how much this series complements and resembles that novel.
The first episode is good enough to watch more
It has the feeling of abandonment and despair of The Walking Dead, but without the zombies, and instead is a personal struggle for life in a significantly changed world. “One Hundred Years of Solitude”; is one of the biggest TV and streaming premieres this month.
